Shawn let out a deep and relaxed breath, closing his eyes for a moment as he stood there, just relishing the tranquil sounds of the jungle as he closed the wooden door behind him softly, leaning against the log cabin. A soft pitter-patter of rain seemed to echo across the forest, slipping through the leaf canopy above, dripping down onto the ground around him, moistening the thick vegetation the grew inside the lush jungle. A nearby trill of a bird could be heard, filling him with a sense of excitement, happy to be away from the life in the city to just relax for a bit.
'This is what I've needed. Just some time to get away from everything and breath...' Shawn paused for a moment longer, softly opening and closing his mouth, blinking his eyes from his nap. He reached out both his arm with a long yawn, stretching his stiff muscles, then bringing his left arm up to his eyes to check the time on his watch. '2:14 PM, not bad. I can probably still make it to that waterfall before nightfall. They did say it was only about 30 minutes away from here, and man, that would really be relaxing... Just listening to the water and lying down...' He let out a surprised chuckle as a drop of rain landed on his nose, wiping it off promptly. 'That is, hoping it doesn't rain any harder.' With this in mind, he pushed himself off the door, making sure it was securely closed as to not let any sort of wildlife inside while he was gone, and headed out into the forest.
If it wasn't for the old dirt path leading the way forward, he'd have no idea where the waterfall was. Not many people had come around and rented the cabin out recently that he was using, and for some reason that only made Shawn feel more drawn to it. He just wanted a few days out in the wilderness where he could be with his thoughts, adventuring out on his own in the jungle, and now that he was here, it was totally worth it.
The path itself was pretty poorly made. It almost seemed as if someone had come through with a machete and chopped off some branches and pushed leaves out of the way to make the path. 'Well at least I can find my way through it, that's what really matters I suppose.' The boots on his feet seemed to drag him down as the soft dirt below began to turn into mud, the rain trickling down and moistening the soil. Shawn grimaced at this but continued nonetheless. 'Just think about where you're going, Shawn. In a bit, you'll be able to relax next to a waterfall, and just listen to the sounds of the forest... Yeah.' He took in another deep breath, and then stepped forward again, venturing down the path and into the entrancing jungle.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After trecking through the forest for what felt like an hour, he arrived at the waterfall. It was beautiful, cascading off the side of a tall cliff and foaming into a large pool below, trickling down into a stream a little ways down. When Shawn had arrived at the waterfall he soon discovered a small alcove behind the screen of the water, and crawled behind the spray to lie down inside the small space behind it. He listened to the water crash below him as he settled down onto his back, closing his eyes while a constant spray of mist hit his face, helping him to fall asleep. It seemed he had slept longer than he had intended though because as he was suddenly awoken by a loud crash, he peeked out behind the screen and widened his eyes in shock.
The once cloudy sky above had thickened into a dark grey mass, billowing in the breeze as a rough downpour of rain pelted at his face. He withdrew his face quickly back behind the water as to shield himself from the icy droplets the sky was raining down. 'Well, this is just great. I really wish I hadn't chosen to come out to the waterfall now...' Knowing there was no other way back, he gritted his teeth and forced himself out of the alcove and back onto the ground again beside the waterfall, covering his eyes as a flash of bright light lit the sky.
A bolt of lightning struck the horizon above and a moment later his ears rang with the resounding bang, causing him to block them with his hands until the noise faded. Shawn looked around wildly, shaking his head as he tried to wake himself up to focus. Every noise seemed to have been drowned out by the constant thrum of the rain and thunder, making it hard for him to even hear his own thoughts. 'Alright, um... Get back to the cabin, yeah, then I'll be fine. Just gotta find the trail...'
He frantically looked around the waterfall, trying to remember which direction he'd come from. Then it hit him, causing him to shout out loud, "Yes, that's right! To the right of the waterfall..." He then sprinted straight over to the other side of the clearing, letting out a deep breath of relief as he found the muddy trail before him. Shawn's hopes began to dim though as he noticed the trail becoming less noticeable as the rain pouring down covered the path with leaves and mixed them with the mud. 'Let's not linger then.'
He started his walk back to the cabin slowly, just making sure to keep with the trail while enjoying the sound of the rain and thunder, but soon enough he began to shiver from the cold, the rain seeping through his light jacket and covering his skin in their icy claws. As continued back to the cabin at a faster pace, he began to realize that the dirt path was fading, mixing with the leaves so much so that if he didn't hurry he may lose his only way home. Shawn's teeth chattered, and his breathing increased as he stopped himself in his tracks, searching around his feet madly for the trail. But no matter where he looked now, wherever the trail had been... The rain had washed it away.
"No... No, there's no way I lost it. I... I can't lose it!" After looking around for another minute, his wet clothes clinging to his body, he let out a soft cry, taking a deep breath. 'Ok, just... Go back the way I came, and wait at the waterfall until the rain stops. Then I can think more logically about this.' But as he turned around to return back on the path he'd come from, he let out a yell of despair, the path from before also washed away in the rain. Shawn stood completely hopeless, just looking around him for anything he recognized that could bring him back to the cabin.
'Ok. Ok, I gotta do something. If I stand here I'll just freeze and make things work. But I have no idea where to go!' He seethed, yelling out in frustration and confusion. As he looked around he noticed an oddly large boulder, standing out from the rest of the forest around him. 'Ok, that's gotta be something, some sort of landmark back!' But as he reached it he found nothing there, no trace of the path. This continued for what felt like hours as he miserably tried to find his way back home, but in the end, he only became more and more lost as the rain numbed his thoughts and drained his hope, leaving him wandering the endless jungle alone and cold.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The forbidding forest began to darken as the moon rose high in the sky, pushing the thick clouds farther apart until the faint stars above began to become visible. Of course, from down below Shawn couldn't see the stars. There were too many trees blocking the view from the sky, and even though the rain had stopped it had left the forest in a chill, making him run his hands along his arms to try and keep himself warm. Shawn had no idea where he was going, and at this point, his only hope was that if he went straight that he'd eventually run into some sort of civilization, but thus far he'd found nothing.
The jungle around him though grew thicker, and huge roots from the trees began to grow out from the ground as he went deeper into the entangling the forest. He had to duck below a large root about the same size as him, letting out deep breaths as he scanned the clearing, trying to think of what to do next. 'Maybe I'll be able to see things clearer if I get on top of one of these roots. It's a better idea than just wandering with no idea where I'm going.'
There were so many large roots growing from above the ground that it seemed like he was almost in a cave, the roots making it hard to walk even a few feet without having to duck or climb over another. So without a better idea, he gritted his teeth and stretched his weak arms up to one of the roots, pulling himself over it and then up another root, determined to reach the top. He let out a shocked gasp as he lost his footing for a moment, slipping on a patch of moss along the root. Shawn quickly clutched onto a nearby root, groaning as he pulled himself back on top, throwing himself onto his back as he finally reached the top of the roots.
He stared up into the branches of the trees far above, noticing a distant star poking through the canopy. His focus was broken as he started shivering more, the wet clothes on his body becoming more of a burden than a help, and with a grunt he pushed himself back up to stand. It was then that he noticed a large rock standing tall between all the roots, poking out like a beacon of peace amidst the untamed forest, looking smooth on the top of it. 'Maybe I can rest there a bit... I'm so tired...' Shawn rubbed at his head, short of breath after the climb, and clambered on top of the rock, gathering his strength to stand tall, looking around the jungle from his vantage point.
From as far as he could see, everything looked the same. Huge thick roots tangled around one another, making it almost impossible to traverse through on foot, not to mention the wild undergrowth. No matter how hard Shawn looked he couldn't see anything that seemed to resemble any sort of path or give any sort of direction forward, and with a yell of defeat he sat down, looking down at his hands as he fell on his knees. "God, why does this have to happen to me? I'm so lost... And cold." He began to shiver, pulling his arms around himself as he stared down at the rock, contemplating what to do.
"Did you sssay you were lossst?"
Shawn jerked his head up, looking around in shock as he heard the voice, "What? Who's..." But before he could finish his sentence he saw her, staring back at him with her deep blue eyes.
It was a large dark brown snake, gazing back at him from her perch higher up on one of the tree branches. Splotches of black marked her all along her body, fading into a dark red in the center of the splotches. From Shawn's experience with snakes, she seemed to have the look of an Albino Burmese Python with the similar colors of a Corn Snake. The dark brown made her look almost gentle, and the way she looked at him, worried and loving at the same time, gave him a soothing feeling that she wasn't here to harm him.
Noticing Shawn's pause as he stared at her, she chuckled, smiling shyly, "I'm sssorry. I thought you were lossst. I heard you yelling and I felt like I had to asssk." She turned her face away from him for a moment, slithering down the side of a tall tree, using her coils to hold tightly onto the branch above as she lowered herself down onto a large root next to the boulder.
Shawn smiled back at her, happy to find a snake since he was typically around them anyways. He would most certainly prefer to find a snake in the jungle rather than a blood hungry cheetah. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be so loud. But yes, I um... I am kinda lost."
She tilted her reptilian head at him, the last of her tail joining her on the root as she curled her massive body around herself, flicking her tongue as she listened. "May I asssk what happened? How you lossst your way that isss."
"Oh, well I'm sure you saw the storm that happened a few hours ago... I was supposed to follow a dirt trail back to my cabin, but because of the rain I kinda... lost the trail." Shawn looked back at her, and then down at his feet again. "Now I'm stuck here in the middle of nowhere with no way home."
"Aww... I'm ssso sssorry to hear that, dear." She moved forward a bit, inching closer as her coils moved around her, "Well, lucky for you I do know the way around thisss foressst pretty well."
"Wait, really?!" Shawn's eyes perked up, smiling in hope at the possibility of it. "Are you serious?"
"Well, yesss. I'd need sssome sssort of landmark though to try and think of the direction you came from." She raised her head to look around her, scanning the area with her dark blue eyes. "Asss you've probably noticed, there isssn't really any order to thisss part of the foressst. You can get lossst pretty easssily."
Shawn laughed at this, shivering again and chattering his teeth as his wet clothes clung to his body. "Well, uh thank you. I re-really do appreciate th-that." He bit his lip, standing up so he could face her. She moved her head close to him, smiling back as her coils slowly followed her. He couldn't help but blush as she got closer, thinking of all the other snakes he'd met and how he loved to cuddle with them, inside and out.
She frowned as she watched him shiver, "Oh my, you look ssso cold and tired." At this she moved forward to where her scales touched his shoulder, making him blush at the contact as she slowly began to curl around him, the width of her body more than big enough to swallow a human whole. To keep him warm inside her body, being pressed in on every single part of him...
Shawn shook his head a bit, trying to get those thoughts out of his mind. "Yeah, my jacket wasn't very helpful against the amount of rain that poured down earlier. Now I'm just a mess, and cold..." He couldn't help but stare up at her maw as she flicked her tongue.
She then added, slowly curling around him with an almost cat-like purr, "Isss thisss alright? I hope I'm not ssscaring you away."
"Oh you aren't, don't worry. I actually live with a few snakes myself, snakes about the size of you, so trust me I don't mind. In fact, I um... Think I'd really like that." He blushed a bit at his words, avoiding eye contact with her as she slowly snuggled up around him, curling her body around him one curl at a time.
"Really? Well, I'd love to help in any way I can." She then closed her eyes, and so did Shawn, relishing the feeling of her soft scales gliding against his skin, pressing around his legs and waist as he was slowly held in her embrace. He involuntarily let out a sigh, rubbing his hands on her long tail before pressing his arms to his sides, feeling her curls slowly hold his arms down as she curled further around him.
The snake then asked him, giving him a soft lick on the cheek, "What isss your name? I don't believe you told me."
"M-my name?" He stumbled, the feeling of her around him distracting his thoughts. "Shawn. My name is Shawn, and yours?"
"Feura. It'sss nice to meet you." She rubbed her cheek against his, skin on scales, before she then added, "I haven't ssseen a human like you for a long time. I do typically like to keep to myssself, but once I heard your call... I really felt like I had to help you, and I'm glad I did. You're very nice.~"
The scales along Feura's body rubbed up against his clothes, making him keenly aware of how much he just wanted to ditch them right now and rub up against her, feeling her coils hold him tightly, so close and intimate. "Well, I must say you're very pleasant as well." He then sneezed, sniffling from the cold as his eyes began to water a bit.
"You know, you really look like you ssshould ressst. Perhapsss we ssshould wait here for a while. I can keep you warm." He then looked up into her eyes, and it was at that moment that he knew they were thinking the same thing. If a snake could blush, he was guessing she was from the shy smile and giggle she gave, flickering her tongue nervously. He blushed back, letting out a soft moan as her curls tightened a bit around him, feeling her body curl all the way up to his neck so that only his head was peaking out, covering him completely in her coils.
Shawn stumbled, "I love the feeling of your scales around me... But, are you able to..."
"Eat you?" They both blushed furiously, and Shawn tried to nod, the coils around his neck making it difficult though. She continued, chuckling a bit. "Well, I can yes. It would be much warmer in there than out here. You also wouldn't have to worry about being digested. I um..." At this, Feura looked away from him, her flustered face changing as she hung her head a bit. "...can't really produce acids very easily. I've... Been like this since I was born actually, so you'll be alright." She then added, looking back at him with a smile, "That is if you'd like that! I assumed that was what you were wondering. Since you've lived with snakes I assumed you've probably done this before."
He smiled back at her, getting lost in her night blue eyes, just admiring the lighter freckles of sky blue near the center. The coils around him began to soothingly squeeze and release, making him feel like he was already being swallowed down Feura's warm tight throat. "I think... I think I'd like that." Shawn's cheeks seemed like they were on fire, asking this brand new snake to do this for him. He was still shivering even with her body around him so he'd need more than just a hug to warm him.
She breathed on his face once, pushing her nose up to his as she stared into them. "It'sss alright. I actually enjoy the feeling of ssswallowing my prey alive and feeling them wiggle inssside me. Alssso, to me, it's almost like cuddling. A really wet and warm cuddle that isss." She let her tongue out once, drawing it slowly up his chin and up over his face to warm it, tasting him a bit. She licked her lips, "You do alssso tassste very good."
"You... You promise you won't digest me?" Shawn asked, feeling a tinge of fear, knowing he'd only just met this snake. Then again, he didn't want anything else but to be wrapped inside her warm body, just relaxing and feeling his body pressed on all sides as he slid down Feura's throat.
She nodded, adding, "Don't worry, I can't digessst you unlesss I really tried. My whole life I've been like thisss. Sssome of my friendsss made fun of me, calling me namesss becaussse I've never been able to produce venom or any sssort of acidsss easssily like other sssnakesss." She paused for a moment, then gazed back at Shawn with love, rubbing her cheek against him once again. "I promissse I'll keep you sssafe. I only want to help you. Help keep you warm and bring you home."
Shawn smiled back at Feura, believing her while he watched a silent tear flowed down her cheek. "Aww, Feura... I had no idea, I'm sorry..."
"It'sss okay. I've gotten over it now. In fact, I'm happy that I'm thisss way. I've been able to help many othersss like you before when they were cold, ssso I'd be more than happy to keep you inside me while we ressst for a bit. Then when we wake I'll let you out, and we can try to find the way back home for you." She looked into his eyes once more, tilting her head, "Does that sound alright?"
Shawn smiled, hearing the way she spoke from her heart, and replied with a rub of his head against her cool scales curled around him. "I'd love that, Feura. Thank you for telling me that."
"You're welcome." She then slowly loosened her coils, releasing him from her tight grip so that he could move around once again. She retrieved her coils from him for a moment, adding as she looked him up and down. "I um... Would prefer if you weren't clothed asss I ssswallowed you... The feeling of clothesss rubbing againssst my insssidesss... It'sss not quite asss pleasssant asss it would be if you were... um, naked."
Shawn blushed bashfully at her and bit his lip. With the thought in mind, he slowly stripped in front of her, feeling the coldness of the forest press around him, making him shiver more. In response, Feura moved close to him, letting her curl her body around him tightly this time, coiling all the way around him up to his chest. The feeling of her scales against his skin made his mind go wild, just enjoying the close intimate contact. She smiled down at him, slowly opening her maw to reveal her two fangs. What was between the teeth was the most important thing to Shawn though.
Long strands of saliva connected her tongue to the roof of her mouth, and he could hear her swallow once, watching as her wet tongue slithered out from her maw to cup at his chin, angling his head up into her awaiting mouth. She let out a sigh causing Shawn to sigh as well as a wave of hot breath hit his face, only making him want to curl up inside there to stay warm. To be so very close to her.
Fuera then slowly lowered her maw, pushing his face and head up into her maw, making sure to keep her fangs far away from his body. Shawn was met with a bath of saliva covering his face, warm and wet as her tongue curled around it, tasting it and warming him up. Her coils around his body also tightened and squeezed as she slowly pulled him inside. Then, without giving him another moment to think she pulled him into her throat, letting out an audible gulp as she swallowed his head down into her throat.
He was instantly met with warm flesh pressing in around his head, pulling him in deeper as her throat massaged his face. Soon enough Feura met his shoulders, stretching her maw open wider to fit him inside her. She slathered her tongue along his chest and abdomen as his arms were pushed to his sides, lowering her maw forcefully to fit his shoulder inside her throat.
With half of Shawn already inside her, Feura used her body to lift him up and angle him down into her throat, using gravity to push his waist up into her maw, making them both blush at the close contact. Shawn groaned in delight as his waist was finally pulled into her mouth, and at this point, he knew that he couldn't escape. He'd be here for a while, pressed in on all angles by her tight flesh, her body against his as she slept soundly, her meal resting inside her stomach.
With a tilt of her maw, she pulled his crotch into her throat and let her coils release him, letting her swallows and gravity do the rest of the work. Shawn's legs were the only thing outside her mouth at this point, dangling from her maw as she swallowed him inch by inch into her massive form. He could feel her tongue already tickling his ankles, and for the first time in hours, he finally felt warm again.
Her body was like a warm cozy blanket, warm and fleshy, massaging him as he was touched at every part of him. Held as closely as possible inside her, feeling her own heartbeat as she pulled her new friend deeper into her belly, keeping him safe and warm.
She then pressed his legs together as they entered her throat and with a final tickle on the base of his feet with her tongue, she pulled his feet inside her maw, closing her mouth around him, sealing him inside completely. After one final taste of his legs, she swallowed once more, pulling his feet inside her throat, letting out a huff at devouring him, Shawn. She then curled up around herself, watching as Shawn's body slowly slid down her neck deeper into her with every pull of her body.
Shawn relaxed to the feelings of her pulling and submitted completely, feeling some of the breath within him being pushed out as her body gripped him tightly at every angle, causing him to blush immensely. "Ahh... Feura... This is... Amazing..." He soon felt a poke on his side, pressing into his deeper, and from the vibration his guessed it was Feura pressing on him with her nose, letting him know he'd be alright.
She curled around herself, feeling the human warm up inside her as she began to drift off to sleep. Looking to the side she saw his wet clothes, the only remnant of Shawn left to the outside world. She smiled at this, resting her head on the bump Shawn made in her body as she spoke. "You're welcome, I'll help you find your way home tomorrow. But for now..." She opened her maw widely, exposing her maw once again widely, knowing she'd just swallowed Shawn down inside it moments ago. "...I'm very sssleepy. Eating doesss that to me. I'll let you out in the morning."
Shawn smiled at this, letting out grunts of enjoyment as love as he felt her smother his body with her flesh, pulling him deeper into her. "Th-Thank you, Fe-Feura... Goodnight..."
"Goodnight, Ssshawn." She mumbled to the bludge in her body, closing her eyes and curling up on the rock as she drifted off into a peaceful sleep, her new friend inside her safe and sound.
