One of the biggest problems I've been having with the design is the stripes - particularly around the face. This is one of the first ones that I'm relatively satisfied with, although I still feel like *something* is missing no the lower left side of the face (his left). I'm just not sure what, yet.
Anyway, being a huge fan of Alice and Wonderland, I had a lot of fun with this, although in the end, I wish there was a lot more detail and references to the books. I also kinda wish I made it more realistic, since somehow, a lot of the stuff in Wonderland seems much more twisted and disturbing when it's realistic rather than cartoony. At least it was fun putting in a few silly, slightly weird puns in there. I was also kind of happy with the whole tree leaves/tendrilly smoke merge thing.
