While I suppose the "killer Santa" bit was nothing too unique by the time Futurama came around (I think Germany still has the rights to that bit with Krampus and all) the evil robot Santa that comes every Xmas Eve to kill and destroy is one of the funniest things in an already hilarious cartoon and one of my all time favorite depictions of Santa and wasn't what this entire mini-countdown was about? Favorite deviations from the Santa norm? I haven't had too many actual "Santa's" in here yet. Oh well, there's still a few more days.
Again, the evil Santa bit has been done well before Futurama did it, but they managed to make it much funnier and the fact that the joke was fully accepted as a running piece of canon just made the overall bit all the better. Sadly neither Kwanzaa Bot, Chanukkah Zombie nor Santa's friend Jesus didn't make the cut this year, but who knows. Next year could be there's! Well... besides that last guy I mean, really. When has Christmas ever been about Jesus Christ?
