This Picture is Dedicated to my Grandparents! Because they are Awesome! :)
This Picture all in all was a whole BUNCH of Work, and I think you can see that! By the way, the 4 Fingers Sonic and Tails are holding up stand for the number 4, wich portraits my hope that Project Needlemouse might be Sonic the Hedgehog 4, but that just as a side note so you know why they have 4 fingers up each! ;)

Allright, my Neck is killing me already for hours now, I hope this will do it, this is actually the best I can do, all the other methods I tryed ended up terrible, but it seems that this simple method does it quite nicely! As they say, complicated is not always the best way!
Ok, it´s done, the finished piece is now up! I usually do something if someone gives me constructive critisism, even though your first comment sounded a little mean, but maybe that´s just my interpretation of it. :/ I will leave this picture now as it is, since this is the best I can do, and it looks nice too! ^^ After an hour of smudging I´m happy that this thing is finally done! -.- Now I can move on to the next project, wich will be a little simpler than this (thank god)! The background grass is still a little blurry but, I tried everything to get it darker, and it just didn´t work like I wanted, so, I´ll leave it as is now!
This is exactly what I wanted! ^^ Tails trying to emulate Sonic, it´s something I miss from todays Sonic, that tails trys to be like Sonic, they changed his character after Sonic Heroes, wich is sad! :( This was something that made him not only look cute but also BE cute. I wish Sega would, interms of the character itself, bring that back.

Yep, exactly, totally agree with you, it seems as if Sega totally forgot who their characters are nowadays, for example, Tails is barely on Sonic´s side! It´s really sad! :( Sonic is a little to friendly nowadays in my opinion, he almost lost his Spicky "asshole" ego! :/ I think character development went into the wrong direction, if there is any character development that is. :( Sega should do something about it fast!

Well, don't get me wrong, Sonic always did seem like the kinda guy who helps others, but jeez he seems too gullible these days. Take the SatAM and Archie comics version of Sonic. He still retains that attitude where he llikes to joke around, poke fun at his friends, and even bad guys,
Then tails, yeah, he's nothing more than this useless supporting character. He's never active anymore, unless it has to do with technology or something. It's all about having a 'rival' for robotnik now.

I love this image so much, I don't know where to begin. Not only was it drawn and colored to perfectly match the retro-style, but you've portrayed the character's emotions perfectly, in my opinion.
Gosh, I miss how Tails used to be. He used to adore Sonic. It was so adorable watching him follow me around, trying to catch up on the old Genesis games. Now sometimes it borderline seems like Tails is annoyed by the blue 'hog. =(
I hope their classic bond can be restored in the future. c:

Yeah, I feel the same about Tails, today he´s just not the same anymore, way to independent for my taste. He was still himself in Sonic Adventure 1, but in SA2 and up, he started to change. I hope Needlemouse will fix what the other games ignored.

I loved SA1, I thought they were going in the right direction with that. You could even still play as Tails with the second controller! :3
SA2 was a great game in its own way, but I think they really did a number on Tails. Considering his ability is flight, having a sense of freedom in your environment is important. They ruined that by forcefully attaching him to something so heavy, slow and cumbersome.

I love the concept and the art style : ) captures the classic Sonic and Tails very well
The only thing is Sonic looks less classic and more like his CD/Movie self - which is a bit jarring next to the video game art style of tails. Its not that its bad mind - it's just design difference
