The Terriverse creature I'm showing today is a whirlbug. They are never more than 2 inches long, and are detritovores. They have some semi-unique adaptations, having similarities to a few real-world organisms.
First of those being at the labeled back area, is their uniquely shaped abdomens, making them partially resemble maple seeds, which is to serve the same purpose. Their cricket-like leg structure allows them to jump, and literally go where the wind takes them, when almost anywhere can be a food source, if not recently used. On the opposite end, they have very large and feathery antennae, which evolved to double as wings. They are not very efficient wings, but they don't need to be. Just an extra push to escape predators and/or travel further.
(As an extra note, this is like theropods transitioning to avian clades or evolution of insect wings in the sense that, if given enough additional evolutionary time, it would result in much more optimized aerodynamics.)
