Milwaukee Road (CMSt&P) T1 track car sits in the weeds having long since been retired and left abandoned. Summer 1993.
I've no idea if there was an original manufacturer for this track car. Knowing the Milwaukee Road it may have been rebuilt many times and the underlying undercarriage may indeed be a Fairmont but who knows. Inside it had a rather stern warning that the speed may not exceed 'half walking' when negotiating a switch.
It was slated for preservation when I took this shot. I don't however know if it has been.
Originally shot on Kodak Gold 400ASA with a non-descript Kodak 'point and shoot'. Then re-shot RAW at 100ASA. Colour curves were used in Photoshop to correct negative orange cast and then inverted. Then brought into Aperture for further tweaks.
