If Cecil were ever in a fighting game, he'd be some kind of mix between a rushdown (which his bro's fully committed to) and a zoner.

Unlike Anolis, whose larial pool is so low that he's actually below the threshold to be able to ward magic (essentially, expelling all your larions to cause any surrounding magic to fail or go haywire...anti-magic, basically), Cecil's got more in his system, which means he can't ward, but he can do a lot more with spells and such than Anolis can (unless they come up with better routines, that is...)

In the future, Cecil ends up getting a job as an investigative journalist, and he's got a punching bag set up in his little pad, so sometimes, he just ends up wailing on it to work out his frustrations or burn some calories or whatever. Or if Noli or Marion's around and in the mood for a friendly throwdown, he'll wail on either of them instead.

So put those two together and you have rushdown/zoner...thing (and also his costume, since it takes inspiration from both a boxer's look and a magician's look)! Cecil would probably be as frail as a button, but he's got the potential to go just about anywhere and hit you from just about anywhere at any given moment, perhaps not for a whole lot of damage (he's more rush than down, let's say), but it'll add up over the match. Or something.
