Second piece in my illustration project! Done around late September, I wanted to focus this piece on an aquatic species.

They're called Aethels, and can spend just as much time out of the water as they can spend in it. Nobody knows if they're more related to dragons or whales, but many call them a hybrid of the two.

-- My theme for my senior project is 'monster zoo', so I'll have a couple of characters going around their world and recruiting creatures that would want to be ambassadors for their species. Cliche, but I like it that way! --
