I drew this badge for 
sparkfloof for MFF 2018. He helped me out with some computer trouble, so I wanted to do something in return!
I struggled a lot with this one. I must have sketched 14 different pose ideas and disliked them all. This was 1 of 2 poses that made the final cut, and it was inspired by a bird of prey photo I found. The other finalist was more anthro. I'm not sure why I ended up going with this one. I think it would be a bit more distinct than the other design.
I bought some online classes for how to improve my digital art skills, particularly when it comes to coloring and shading. This is the first image that leverages things I learned.
