Slight confusion on my part, here: if the Baron was found not guilty, then: (a) why is there sentencing going on, and (b) why would he have been "escorted back to his barony?" Usually, if you're found not guilty, you're discharged from court, and that's it.
He was found not guilty by his fellow nobles, and to keep the peasants from lynching him he was escorted back to his estate. The proles will find out later.
