it's a tactical breaching hammer, it's used for smashing down or ramming doors and has a crowbar on the end of the handle. SWAT doesn't always use explosives when entering a building. so he carries it on the back of his body armor ready to do some smashing the inspiration for it comes from the Rainbow six siege operator Sledge (my fav operator)
