This little fellow, adorable as he is, is Empol, one of Kwythis and Meta's (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/232797/) sons. I've drawn him only once before, and it was a quick sketch to show Lady Ravenlocke what he looked like. Originally, I was going to draw this piece with Tariq (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/173385/) beside him, but the paper I was drawing on was too short to allow it. Damn you Tariq and your... bigness.

Anyways. Tariq is Empol's surrogate father, as he and Empol were very close when Kwythis passed away, and Empol didn't want to be anywhere else. (I think he's also got a bit of hero-idol worship crushing going on for his pree uncle, but that's besides the point.) But yes, Tariq taught Empol music, and it's been one of the young snake's passions every since. He's playing a balton, an elven instrument that sounds like a flute, clearly, but has a higher pitch to it. It compliments Tariq's flute nicely.

Something I feel necessary to mention is that in the original piece, his tail was twined with Tariq's. :( I thought it was adorable. Stupid lack of room on paper.

Approx. 15 minutes, with an hour colouring using  Lmai's Prang pencil crayons.
