From about 1997 to 2007, I was part of the "USS Freedom," a comedy and Star-Trek themed roleplay that took place on an online chatroom. While my character's origins were mentioned briefly on his biography page, I never did a backstory then. Recently, I was thinking about the fun times, and decided to go ahead and write it down. So here's the tale of Maxwell Lee, whose name would later be changed to A. Payne due to a computer error, which shows a little of how crazy life as a crewman on the USS Freedom could be.
