Darkey reference sheet 2019
(I fixed a couple things like the shoulders and now you can actually read the text)
Made a new reference sheet for her for 2019 because I dislike how the previous one looked, also to add a few little changes (‘cause NEW year, am I right). But other than that, hopefully I won’t end up changing her as much as in the previous years, I’m for the most part content with her design right now.
Other than that, Darkey is really important to me. She’s the main character I use, but she also represents me in a lot of ways (basically she’s my fursona with her own story and all, to put it simply). She’s been my character for almost 4 years now, so you can say we’ve been through a lot and I’ve grown really attached to her. I’ve started using her name about 5 years ago, but all she was back then was just a dinosaur alter ego. Literally nothing else and I don’t remember much from back then either.
So anyway, now that I wrote this really long introduction for some reason here’s her actual bio.
NOTE: Darkey and Darkea are two completely different persons, they just share one body. That’s why when Darkea is in control her eyes and some features change.
information about Darkey
Basic information: female, tomboy, teenager, 5 feet 5 inches (165 cm) tall, anthropomorphic mutated raptor, lives secretly among people.
Personality: Introvert, overthinks everything, keeps to herself, often kind of depressed. She doesn't have a consistent personality, acts depending on the situation. Overall she’s a bit grumpy, rude and stubborn, but acts all nice when she knows she has to/wants to. It’s easy to piss her off and change her mood completely. She’s really vulnerable, but always bottles up her feelings. Really self conscious and self critical, but usually keeps everything to herself and doesn’t ask for help, thinking her problems don't matter. It’s difficult to get her to trust anyone. She doesn’t want to be a burden or hurt others, but at the same time wants to show people she doesn’t like or trust them. Because she adapts to every situation, she’s not sure who is the real her and often gets lost mentally trying to find out. Around some people she’s cautious and kind of an asshole, around others more calm and with people close to her she can be random and more open, but not always.
Appearance: Visibly a young female, quite skinny and rather weak looking, but has somewhat strong legs.
Abilities: She’s agile and fast, even though can’t do it for too long. She uses electricity magic, which allows her to create and have full control over electricity, can control the voltage, length, direction etc of it. Doesn’t need to ‘charge’ in any way, but after using it too much needs to rest. Same with her shapeshifting, she can transform into anything but has to be careful with it, becoming something too powerful is almost impossible and needs rests as well. (her artificial arm changes with her, since she uses magic to do it.)
Likes: warmth, rain, music, peace, the night, cities, forests, lakes, mountains, being lazy, reptiles, birds, canines and felines, animals, swimming, skiing, spending time alone (not always), people she can trust, listening to music, weapons (…yeah), dramatic stories, anime, being mysterious.
Dislikes: the cold, winter, cramped spaces, noise, dancing, wind, crowds, bugs, dresses and girlish clothing, when it’s too hot, people who don’t understand her/won’t leave her alone, others paying too much attention to her, herself, showing her body, effort, and she hates children and babies.
Big fears: Arachnophobia (spiders absolutely terrify her), huge machines, talking with a lot of people, heights, death.
Some facts about her:
- she often lacks sleep
- has kind of a mumbly voice
- swears a lot
- she's Christian
- hides a lot of secrets from everyone (both bad and weird that nobody should know about)
- bisexual (don't know why you need to know that though)
- doesn't mind physical pain and doesn't worry for herself much
- loves to crack her knuckles and play around with her fingers
- her flesh is resistant to acids, but it's rather fragile

information about Darkea
Basic information: doesn't have a name, but most refer to her with "Darkea", a bit taller than Darkey (she can alter her body), a ghost, has been around for hundreds of years.
Personality: She's careless, energetic and psychopathic. Always seems to be happy. She Doesn't care about others and likes causing people pain and misery or just being annoying. The only person she kind of cares about is Darkey, but shows it by affection in various ways, even if it annoys and hurts her.
Appearance: Stronger and more muscular than Darkey, but also looks definitely more feminine with big breast size. She doesn't have Darkey's necklace and doesn't wear clothes or bandages, unlike Darkey. She always lets her tongue hang out of her mouth with a mischievous smile, her eyes are also different than Darkey's. Her left arm also is not artificial, instead it's like her right arm but completely black.
Abilities: Darkea is stronger than Darkey and can use it for extended periods of time, though she CAN'T use her electricity and shapeshifting magic. Darkea however masters powerful dark magic and can do pretty much anything thanks to it, but she doesn't over use it. She could destroy many lives if she wanted to, but prefers more primitive and brutal ways.
Likes: blades, chains and ropes, torture, rape, blood, murder, girls, others' pain, messing around
Dislikes: water, not being in control, others being too curious about her or Darkey's past, guys, being overpowered, others 'stealing' Darkey from her
Some facts about Darkea:
- doesn't need anything to survive; can sustain herself by just magic
- her voice is rather deep and evil sounding
- knows some mysterious languages related to magic
- if Darkey is badly injured or close to dying, she will heal her body because if Darkey dies Darkea will become a wandering spirit again and will have to find another suitable host, which can take years
- she's homosexual and sometimes likes making it obvious
- did have a life before she died, but nobody knows about it except herself
- she knows everything about Darkey since she's been possessing her ever since she hatched, but doesn't talk openly about her past at all

Well this is a long bio, I started writing it at 3 am but then kinda fell asleep at God knows what time and I finished it today. There might be more things added in the future and I still have to finish some things for this ref as you can probably already see.
Sorry for making you read that much, hopefully I didn't make too many dumb mistakes.
For any of you who are wondering, Darkey represents just how I am overall and Darkea represents the negative thoughts that sort of tear me up from the inside and sometimes control my actions, hah... Really I'm doing alright though I swear, I mean I'm not dead and not trying to be.
