Featuring an Odraani space trooper, aka 'Gecko'.
They are specialised saboteur troops, trained to disable ship controls, defences or even life support, before the main boarding starts. Equipped with manoeuvring jets, magnetised boots and gloves, and this particular trooper is armed with a mid-rate laser weapon.
The nickname originates from the way they crawl on the hull of the vessel during an attack. Dangerous but well respected role, they are the true aces of the Odraani.
Had a TON of fun doing the gear and inking the deets! Very therapeutic, even Need to do moar ;w;

Glad to see the grunts of the Odranni space fleet, always respect the frontline trooper! <3
Good idea on the use of laser weapons btw. Having something that can hit your target at light-speed is most useful if caught in the vacuum of space where the distances between you and them can be quite vast. Also, bullets are just a bad idea in that environment. Especially if you are around something with a great deal of mass like a planet or a moon. Wouldn't want the bullets to orbit around said body of mass and hit you in the rear, would you?
Lasers just eliminate that problem! ^w^

Yee exactly! The greatest issue would be the recoil, though through some clever venting it could be counteracted? o3o
Lasers do sound promising at first, till we take the limited Odraani tech into account .w.' Most of the her backpack is made up from power cells for the gun :D
