Many people have asked me how did Alphaleo came about, come to think of it, it was pretty interesting process as I tracked back to the old days. So here is a brief history on the birth of Alphaleo.

1. It all started with Lion King on 1994. I like Lion King so
much until I did fan art, and also in the mean time
local TV is showing Kimba the White Lion. So both Simba
and Kimba serve as the main key foundation design for
Alphaleo.

2. Until 1995 I stop Lion King fan art, and it was the time I
began to explore drawing into my own character. This Leo
on mountain bike was my very first furry art I ever did, and
also I’m a avid fan to mountain bike at that time.

3. The second Leo design was further developed in color and
details, and it was name ‘Klye’ and it was also the time
when I give ‘Klye’ the first pony tail. And the color was
pretty much a dirrect copy from Lion King.

4. On 1998, I began to explore leo in a more fantasy and
furturistic manner. And the character was name ‘Throwin’
this was the original version 1.0 Gun-pod, the version 2.0
can be found here.

5. The very first Alphaleo, originally a mascot I did to
personalized my journal. But it was a nameless character at that time.

6. The name ‘Alphaleo’ was born when I did this little web page
assignment in my college.

7. The following year. During my college holiday, I have
Alphaleo fully refine and redesign.

8. 2003 was the year i started painting with computer after retiring from my water color style. First digital color for Alphaleo, the most memorable smile

9. The same year i was exploring realistic fur painting style for Alphaleo. also my first attempt with computer tablet.

10. New cloth for Alphaleo.

11. Due to the influences from the Combo ninos project i was doing lead me to create this first Alphaleo Chibi style.

12. Alphaleo gets animated for MNU short promo animation, the animation project was never done due to laziness, most of the Alphaleo scenes are aniamted but left un-done.

13. Newly redesign Alphaleo version 3.5 following the success of Lion hearts(KH style). Alphaleo at the age of 29(following the creator's age)

14. The most realistic painting style(so far) that was given a Daily Deviation in Deviant Art, my most favorite work.

15. New Alphaleo chibi style.

16. A rework version of my 2003 work. This is the current Alphaleo u come to love and hate.
