I had fun doing this. It's a little old, and I plan on redoing my ponysona now that I have an actual kirin to use as reference now in the show. It was my art sister in Japan that introduced me to the canon design.

The handsome fellow with the mechanical arm is based off of my husband, who was my boyfriend at the time. He's not a brony, even though his best friend, my art sister's husband, is one. We both find amusement in that, mostly because of his friend's personality type. However, my husband makes fun of bronies, or he did until he married himself a Pegasister. He still doesn't care for it, but he at least doesn't make fun of it anymore.

He does like the ponysona that I designed after him, though. I used steampunk for inspiration, especially since he helped me dive deeper into the fashion. His cutiemark is a trio of gears and a lightning bolt.
