If this is you apparently sucking, I wonder what it looks like when you say you've done well! This is beautiful. I'd hang it on my wall if I could! Love the piercing blue of the eyes and the texture of the everything, though I'll have to say my favorite part is the detailed patters on his/her cloak.

Nah, that's not me sucking... not really. If I hated it with every fibre of my being- I wouldn't post it :). I'm just never fully satisfied with my works and this here was an experiment...which turned out not to be fully successful, but all in all, I learned some new stuff, so it wasn't entirely pointless either hahaha...I kinda like how the eyes came out, though.
Thank you! I'm glad you like the cloak, I wasn't sure if it came out okay (usually when I'm trying to do patterns like that they don't look like patterns...but rather like a hovering hologram, or something) haha...

for me it's trying to make organic life forms look like organic life forms.
trains and houses, on the other paw, come natural to me. (well my kind of odd little ones, which are what i like anyway. but then i also love the benign strangeness i find in two places, nature and the spirit people in my mind)
