Ayah is the most recent addition to the pride and perhaps the one with the more memorable introduction.
Ayah had always been a wild child and a free spirit, having ran away from home as soon as she was able with only a backpack of a few possessions and not a single coin to her name, nor any particular learned skills other than beign able to sweet talk just about anyone. She used this to her advantage often enough as well as her body to fleece money, food and lodging from strangers and then suddenly vanishing from their lives as she moved on to other pastures and victims. Then one day she had managed to get into a fancy party courtesy of her latest rich guy she schmoozed up to, and it was there that she first laid eyes on Zahra as her next target.
She managed to get close to her after a while and was invited to stay at the chateau by Zahra but she quickly ran into Zuri who was immediately distrustful of her so Ayah put her plans on hold for a while and stay longer than she had intended in hopes of getting Zuri off her track. It seemed to be working as she had less and less run ins with Zuri as she was wanderign around looking for some money to lift when she made her escape, however by this time she had now been staying there for several months which was much longer than she had planned and she had to remind herself not to get too comfortable there which became harder to do as time went on. However all this time Zuri had not been idle and had done a background check on her and eventually caught her red handed as she tried to sneak out with a bunch of jewelry one night.
However while Zahra was deciding on wether or not to get the police involved, Nadira suggested Ayah should stay and work off her debt and earn a second chance. Surprisingly Zuri backed this suggestion and thus Ayah was given work as a field hand since she had previously faked interest in the whole wine business. She had thought of making an escape attempt but she had to admit to herself she had actually come to enjoy the quieter country life during her stay there. Eventually Zuri made her another offer at proper employment and make use of those sweet talking skills in sales and marketing. She didn't have to think long to accept the offer and now she is under apprenticeship with Zuri and taking online business courses. Even her relationship with Zahra became a more genuine one. She had also reached out to her parents for the first time in years, hoping for forgiveness.
Ayah may have mellowed some during her time at the vinyard but she is still very much a party girl, though thanks to Zuri she has become more disciplined as well with a career goal in mind instead being a gold digger the rest of her life or ending up in serious trouble one day. It seems in the end she found she was just looking for a place to belong and grow up as a person...even if it took her a while to see this and her own potential.
