Since apparently people don't read other people's comments or the full title of the submission... I want to make this 100% clear.
Thiiiiiiisssss...... iiiiiiisssssss...... aaaaaaaaaa....... wwooooooorrrrrrrk........ iiiiiiiinnnnnnn........ prrrrrrroooooooogrrrrrrrreeeeeeesssssss........
For those of you who can't read drawn-out text... This is a work in progress.
Now I'll repeat it: This is a work in progress. Now I'll write it alone on its own line for those who can't understand anything past the first sentence.
This is a work in progress.
Now I'll type it in Caps for those who need things to be in Capital letters to read them:
THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS.
Now I'll expand the title from a common acronym - WIP- to "WORK IN PROGRESS".
Now I'll yell it, maybe the exclamation points will make it clearer:
THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS!!!!!!!!!!
Now I'll add in swearing, maybe THAT will get the message through.
THIS IS A GOD-DAMNED WORK IN PROGRESS %^&@&!!!!!!!
And now I'll repeat it six times, in case you skip over the first five.
THIS IS A GOD-DAMNED WORK IN PROGRESS!

Now, at this point, the partial fuck-tards among you are thinking it would be funny to post a comment about the miniature's incomplete paint job. You would be wrong. I do not find people laughing and making jokes about my anger to be amusing. Not in the slightest.
Meanwhile, the COMPLETE fuck-tards amongst you have already started to type up comments about the miniature's incomplete paint job. To you, I'd like to say, "FUCK. OFF."
THIS IS A GOD-DAMNED WORK IN PROGRESS!
That was in case you need to not expect it.
Damn that felt good to write.

This is an Immolator tank. It can carry six models in power armor, and the one shown is armed with a twin-linked multi-melta, a potent if short-ranged tank-killing weapon.
Like an idiot, I attached the clear-plastic window-dome-thingy to the turret before spraypainting it. Enh, it'll give me an opportunity to practice painting plastic as plexiglass.
Oh, and the image title comes from the Dawn of War: Soulstorm RTS videogame. When an Immolator comes into play, the game plays a sound file the goes, "*radio static pop* Behold, the IMMOLATOR tank! *radio static pop*"
Warhammer 40,000 belongs to Games Workshop.
I painted the model and took the photo.

I remember when they weren't cheap. Their basic ten man squad used to be about 60% more expensive than your basic Tactical Squad box or Platoon box or Guardian box or what have you.
Then they kinda normalized the prices at about 50$ CAN. When I started, a box of ten Sisters was 45 bucks - I think. I don't remember exactly - and a Dire Avengers box was 32 dollars Canadian.
Thankfully, the prices have come down to about 42 dollars for a standard box since the last time I looked, which was over a year ago.
Wait, I totally missed your point, didn't I?
I dunno how cheap they are. Celestians hitting non-IC/MC/TMCs on a 3+ in CC is kinda OP, especially when coupled with that Act of Faith that puts me at +2 Initiative.
Took down a five-man Space Marine Command Squad that was kitted for close combat and put a wound on the Commander with about ten Celestians over two turns. Lost 4 or 5 Celestians in the process. : 3 I then fell back after the second round of combat because I lost more in that phase. The Space Marine commander tried to get to his vehicle. I regrouped, and in a hail of melta, plasma, and bolter fire at short range, the commander kinda, um, melted.
This Immolator was not involved.

I kinda remember my last battle, long time ago, my Space Wolfes kicked tail, course I had two Las preds, all marines mounted with one bolter and one power weapon, aside from the heavy weapons speacialists, a pair of land speeders, and a land raider cruisader, that was a glorious battle, ran up against eldar, was a mega points battle so I had a lot of troops, lost many of my troops, but the land raider and two preds cleaned house
Custom chapter colors. No fluff yet.
The way I've been painting them... although it looks nice, I can't keep doing it. Too painstaking.
I used to do dark angels green on the armor, then drybrush catachan green over that, heavily. That took all sorts of time and effort.
Although I like the way that looks, it's too painstaking a process for me to find enjoyable anymore. So instead, I'll just be doing solid Catachan green for the armor.
Liche Purple on the shoulder trim; gold for the veterans.
