It's been some time since we heard from Koda and the other's. Lately Koda was assigned to the planet Horath where the plans of the Kranng's next move would be at. So Koda signs in as a warrior participating for the planet's annual tournament battles. If Koda wins then he will receive a special opportunity to have lunch with the planet's leader Frost in the castle where the plans are.

Late on Koda does eventually win the Tournament matches unfortunately it also attracted the attention from Frost. While she was getting bored of the matches but when she see's Koda she automatically falls for him. Now it would thinks harder know that there's a deadly leader with feelings for you watching your movements.
