According to my sister Rhonda, 'Chewbacca' (a.k.a. 'Chewie') - the last of her canine pets - had expired in her Wantagh, New York home, on Christmas Day (December 25, 2018). He was seventeen years of age...
'Chewbacca' was the last of my sibling's three papillon dogs, having already lost 'Zipper' (at the age of 20) in December, 2017, and 'Estrella' during the Summer of 2018.
In his memory, my niece Erica had posted two separate photo-ops of 'Chewie' in "Facebook"...
