Alrighty! dinkity doo da time
as always left to right top to bottom for descriptions
So the first two doodles involve a fire starter i have been rethinking, instead of a coin its a magical rock that simply heats up to a point of being red hot, and that contact with dry material will be enough to light it on fire, all it takes is a sharp tap on a hard surface to activate the rock, even just flicking it with a claw should work. i had two different folks tell me two different other things that you could do with it. though fire starting is its intended use.
First was of course one of my friends who enjoys the idea of weaponizing everything you can think of. In this case using the fire rock as an ignition source for the simplest of handguns, literally just a rusty tube loaded with the simplest of gunpowders and probably a bunch of large rocks. This might be something you might see in a primitive tribe on very rare occasion assuming they can find at least a single pipe.
The second (and probably much more common) non intended use is warmth. Drekir are cold blooded and as such need an external heat source to not freeze to death, the only exceptions are DrekirKaltir and DrekirHimi. But wrapping the stone in scaleather and wearing it like a necklace will do handily in the job off keeping you warm. Especially if you can wear a heavy cloak that can keep that heat in, in this case made of wool from a wool wyrm or cotton.
A discord request for a gunslinger. it was pretty fun! not a lot to build off of but still.
One for a VerdaStal knight and some men at arms, went with an archer and a swordsman. While VerdaStal reliant regions may have variable governments, military wise they often resemble a lot of medieval times or even more ancient times in terms of what weapons and armor they might make. Of course it wont usually mimic the fine art of swords and armor from the 16th century as the folks making these things may not of previously understood what makes a sword a sword, instead making what they think armor should look like. But thats a ramble for another day.
Lastly an instructor teaching someone a Dracosong, known as a Salag in sivilao. It's pretty hard to get these things as they are something created as a coming of age for the Mavotur wyverns. As such, those wyverns will defend their salag to their dying breath more often than not. But getting one is a powerful tool for drekir who know how to properly interpret a dracosongs more improvisational and freeform interpretation.
Shaggy out!
