They are as beautiful as they are deadly, with a gaze almost as cold as their breath. Those living in the far North and South know that, if a White Dragon takes up territory around the place you call home, you are best off finding a new home. Though quite intelligent, the White Dragon tends to focus on present satisfaction rather than looking to the future. Its hunger for hunting and meat can only be matched by its love for gems and all that glitter. While not as feared as their Red or Black brothers, these dragons are still a force of nature to deal with.
Nyrhis was born as one such dragon, though he never fit the typical description. He was always more the quiet type, never boasting about the vastness of his territory or the size of his treasure hoard. He was more calm and collected, unlike the blizzard of emotion that described many of his brothers and sisters. His father, Arkarius, was a White Dragon who known and feared throughout the land. His breath could freeze entire villages. He sat atop a mountain of treasure. And his harem consisted of no less than three white dragonesses. Nyrhis never aligned with his father or his desires, nor did he ever wish to someday overthrow his father. He just wanted to enjoy himself.
Had Nyrhis wanted to conquer lands, hunt the largest of beasts, or acquire a sea of gemstones... he very well could have. Even amongst White Dragons, he was exceptionally powerful. He just lacked the drive to use that power. Instead, he one day chose to use his draconic magic on himself, condensing his entire form into that of a human-like vessel. It made it easier for Nyrhis to explore the world without drawing as much attention to himself. His body is covered in blue lines, which make up the seal that keeps him in a human form. Other than these lines, he looks entirely like a typical human. Should he be threatened and forced to enter into a fight, however, he is able to tap into a portion of his ice and snow magic: in this state, he grows horns and a tail of ice akin to his true appearance as a dragon, though to a much smaller scale.
He often wears a suit and tie. He works for the Junsivaas Company, a corporation that does... well, no one really knows. Nyrhis just shrugs whenever he is asked. Nyrhis is in charge of security, and he is the level-headed one who is called whenever a serious threat faces the company or any of its partners.
I really need to stop buying OC's that I never end up using... but in my defense, I have wanted a character who controls ice for the longest time, and when I saw this adopt up for a fair price, I figured this would be a nice little gift for myself. Hope you all like him!
