This is my TLK character, Gisani. :) He's part of my fan story about Scar's Lion Guard. In the story, Scar (or Taka, as he's called when he's young), is a very shy cub who's afraid of a lot of things. He's always in his older brother Mufasa's shadow and their father, Ahadi, always seems to be disappointed in him. Taka is very close to their mother, Uru, however, and she treats him very lovingly. Mufasa and three other cubs their age usually bully and tease Taka. Though there is one cub named Gisani who usually stays quiet and watches the others from afar. One day he decides to defend Taka from the others' bullying, because he's getting tired of seeing them treat him badly. After that, Taka and Gisani become best friends and Gisani inspires and teaches him to become more confident and couragous.

Then, when Taka discovers he has the Roar of the Elders and must assemble the next Lion Guard, Gisani is his first choice and he becomes the keenest of sight. As for the other members of the guard, Taka chooses the three cubs who used to bully him, but started respecting Taka more after he became more confident and they ended up becoming friends. The three other cubs become the bravest, strongest, and fastest of the new guard.

With the new guard complete, everything goes well for a long time. But, when they're all young adults, Taka and Mufasa's father, King Ahadi, dies and Mufasa becomes the new king. The young Mufasa starts trying to boss the guard around and Taka starts becoming angry at his brother. He starts feeling like Mufasa's not fit to be king and he should be king instead, especially since he has the Roar of the Elders. He tries to persuade the rest of the guard to join him in overthrowing his brother, but they refuse, eventually talking him out of it. Things are peaceful again for a time, but the thought of being king still won't leave Taka's mind. He ends up privately talking with Gisani about it and Gisani tries to convince him again to let the idea go and to not attack his brother. Taka then becomes angry with Gisani and attacks him. The two of them fight and Gisani ends up scratching Taka's eye, giving him his scar. Then, Taka uses the Roar of the Elders on him, knocking him off a cliff and killing him. The rest of the guard hear the roar and come to see what happened. When they see what Taka has done, they all attack him, but Taka uses the roar and defeats them all, causing the roar to be taken from him.

After that, Taka runs away to the Outlands, where he meets the hyenas and starts going by the name "Scar". As the years go by, Mufasa learns to be a better king and becomes wiser than when he was younger. He feels bad for the way he treated his brother, but Scar never forgives him and always feels like he would make a better king.

So that is the whole story. ^^ I'm really happy with how the drawing turned out. I tried some new techniques like coloring the line art and stuff, so I think it turned out well. x3
