Octavio tends to wear more gold and red than either of his daughters (the girls both tend to wear silver and steel instead). As king it might've been instilled in him from before rising to the throne that he should wear gold all the time, it's a metal worthy of kings after all.
Though he doesn't over-ornament his armor.

Octavio is a sort of representation of my own dad that passed away a few years ago and he's every bit the father my own dad was to me. Although his expression here is quite stern and heavy with the worries that come with the rule of a kingdom, he's quite the caring leader and his subjects adore him.
