An extremely tough year behind, tons of work towards positive changes which have paid off. Both life and in art.
This year, art and life walked hand in hand, I could've not achieved either without another.

In the beginning of 2018 I was unhappy, unhealthy, financially in a deep hole, far away from anyone who could help, my art had
gotten boring and literally desaturated. Basically depression was glooming through my work and I had no more energy to sustain
anything, not even friendships.
A long story as short as I can, but I started from taking a risk and attending NFC in hopes to save up money to escape my situation.
I forced myself to make new friends there and reconnect with old ones, because I had no idea who was attending. Only weeks before
the con they finally accepted me to the dealers den which turned out to be a major success. I also had the most fun I had ever had at
a con, just throwing myself to new things.
I begun saving money by eating 1/3 of what I used to, not only saving money it helped me to lose 20kg of weight - resulting to
feel a lot better mentally and physically. I could use my older clothes so I didn't have to buy new ones. Finally I could move to a better
place with my remaining friends and lower living costs and actually start saving up on what I had lost.
Once life was dealt with, I could focus on improving my work again - I could finally tackle my goal for 2018: Improving composition &
technical subjects. Which I feel I did good on! The previous two years I was never happy with my progress, but now I finally am again.
Finally, I managed to make new friends, reconnect with some past ones and strengthen the current ones - I no longer feel alone & isolated.
I'm so thankful to those friends who were happy to have me around even if I was mostly gloomy and difficult, and especially those who
listened, encouraged and stuck around so I could make those important changes.

A huge thanks to my clients and supporters who made it possible for me to get through this year financially, and trusted me with new
subjects to tackle - which allowed me the time and resources to hone my skills through those commissions!

Onwards to 2019, next art goal is values & better productivity!
