We're moving to Huntsville, AL (leaving tomorrow to start driving), and so I wanted to get one more thing scanned before they pack up the scanner.
This image popped into my head yesterday while driving through town. We have a store called "The Bead Forest" where they sell all sorts of jewelry making supplies and hippy stuff. I misread it as "The Dead Forest" even though I've seen that sign constantly in the 7 years we've lived here. I was like, hey, that could be a cool picture.
Something I eventually hope to finish once we've moved into the new place and are all settled in.
Graphite on sketch paper.

Dude. wtf.
How many people out there draw werewolves realistically? Let alone, how popular is the 'creeping werewolf' pose? It's like the crouching werewolf pose. It's everywhere. Obviously, if Goldenwolf has used it twice in her OWN gallery. I've probably done it too.
Advertising Goldenwolf in Ky's gallery? Uhh...wow. *utterly mind-boggled* Bad form, and quite rude.

No no, I'd have to agree with Sidian. It's quite rude to promote another artist in someone else's gallery in that sort of way (and I love Goldenwolf). Judging by the whole tone of the comment, this person was clearly attempting to call out Kyoht as a copycat. Why else post "similar pictures?" If they were so worried, they could have notified Goldie themselves.
I don't think promoting another artist will lose someone +favs and +watches, however, they should do it in their own gallery. I don't think that's so unreasonable to ask.

Yeah, I was wondering who the artist was that this picture reminded me of. Was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw it. They're both very different pictures regardless. ^^
That first link you posted was the first image that came to mind, though I think this image turned out a bit better perhaps... I tend to be a fan of pencil sketches much more than digital works. ^^
Btw, don't worry over Sidian. Sharing another artist with folks isn't rude, considering the simple fact that people wouldn't unfav this artist in order to check out goldenwolf as well. lol. Sidian's `opinion` isn't unanimous.

Its really laid-back, small (we average about 400 attendees), and if you stay at the hotel, we give you free breakfast every day. The hotel is an Embassy Suites, so they have AWESOME breakfast. There's also a manager's reception each night with free booze, if you drink. I don't, honestly, but its a nice option for those that want to.
I'm staff there, so if you have any questions about the con, let me know, and I'd be happy to answer them.
Huntsville really is a nice place. Its quite pretty. Be sure to take a drive up the mountain to the state park up there. You can see clear into Tennesee on a clear day.
