My 2018 Summary of Art

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY
So I decided to throw together a summary of art post for this year; and I'm so glad I did. This year was an essential year for my art progression, I think I've really finally found my style. Of course It may change in some time like it usually does, but this style really feels like my own. I can definitely see some improvement in my facial anatomy as well as my shading.
This new year I want to focus a lot on making my art stand out. I would usually draw portraits or pinups, (I still will probably always do those XD) but I want my art to have story and meaning behind it rather than just an image of a character. So I've got to really focus on posing and backgrounds this year.
I hope you all have had a great year with art. Even if it wasn't the best year, like you just haven't drawn as much as you would have liked (because same). Or you think your art went in a direction that you're not happy with; It's OKAY, every artist goes through those difficult times in their art career. We can never learn if we don't fail sometimes. Failing or not do your best should motivate you to get out there and make something special. I encourage everyone to keep going and find inspiration wherever you can <3
