Luke: Don't Eat The Yellow Lightsaber! - https://youtu.be/gPQvRahIzis
One of Kenner's largest Star Wars toys, the AT-AT was every Star Wars-obssessed child's dream. With movable "limbs" and "head," not to mention clear "chin guns," which lit up and pumped back and forth when a trigger inside the toy was activated, the AT-AT had a lot to offer. However, the high price tag meant that relatively few of them were sold, and nice examples have always sold for a premium on the collectors market. The two "chin guns" are frequently missing from loose versions.
First released as part of Kenner's 1981 Empire Strikes Back line, the AT-AT was re-issued the following year with 10 bonus action figure accessories. It was issued again in 1983, this time in a Return of the Jedi box, with Endor-themed graphics. Luckily for Kenner, the menacing vehicle made a brief appearance in Jedi, patrolling the forested area surrounding the Empire's shield generator. In the '90s, Hasbro again released an AT-AT toy. Although, in producing it, they re-used the molds of the vintage Kenner vehicle, several modifications were made to the toy which allow it to be distinguished from its '80s counterpart.
Catalog Description:

I'm kind of jealous that you got one of these little loan apparently complete. They're really hard to obtain unless you want to pay a wacky price . I know somebody that runs a comic book store, who got one about 10 years ago at a flea market for around $40 and was kind of impressed that he got one that cheap.
Working I've seen them go for staggering prices, especially complete.
I've had a few in my hands but when I was young $25 was a lot of money to pay for something at yard sale. Usually they'd be in a box with a few other Star Wars toys back then and expensive.
I ended up getting one of the ones that has six legs. A few years ago it had doesn't have all the legs was in a box of toys that somebody threw out.
If you're ever looking for millennium falcon parts I have to that I'm building one from the paradigm and there'll be quite a few leftover pieces when I'm finished . Believe it or not between the two of them. The only piece I missing is the satellite dishI paid $10 for one at a comic book store and the other one. I got in the garbage with quite a few accessories that normally are missing.

My uncle gave me his AT-AT that he'd gotten for Christmas in 1980 when i was a little kid, although the chin guns were unfortunately long since gone due to the many hours of play it had received from him though it was mostly complete otherwise. I actually still happen to have it stashed away in my closet along with all my other old Star Wars toys.
