I slapped this together last minute because I either forget or hesitate with summaries thinking I got nothing nice to show from over the year, knowing I'll be disappointed with myself to a degree. The first half of the year was a slight struggle because I was still attending classes. After May, I took my self-imposed break from school, giving me room for more time and energy to bang out some art with effort while fighting lingering burnout and on coming art block. I couldn't get a flow again unless I forced myself a little. I always doubt my improvement with these things so I will finally say that the improvement is there. I just seem to nice very slowly over more than a year or so compared to looking through everything done a single year.

Since nothing is guaranteed, I will just have to try harder at what I did and haven't done, which especially includes improving my coloring and rendering. I feel like I got even lazier this year and didn't have a lot of drive and energy for effort-filled illustrations beyond commissions that called for it. If I can get myself to lean away from most of my work being flat colored doodles and working on auto-pilot 98% of the time, I'd be glad. Thanks for lookin! ♥
