My mother had a red/tan min pin for years. When I brought my son home from the hospital he was all like "That is MY baby!!"

thats one of the reasons we decided to get a dog. That way our baby grows up with a dog like we did. Now we have our little boy and our little girl *gigglesnorts*

their tails have been docked, if it was up to me, I wouldn't have. But yes, they're able to be used for breeding and show. Our puppy will do neither but photography for me ^_^

No. I don't own these. They are my neighbors. They were born before we moved up to Virginia. We were offered one. I decided to get it. No. I'm not docking the ears either.


I am going to raise this dog with our daughter that i am CURRENTLY CARRYING so that the two can have someone to love and care for as they get older. I've owned multiple animals. I have gotten my male dogs fixed as well as my female dogs. I will more than likely be getting this one fixed as well, even with his registering and lineage.

Calloe... you really - REALLY need to step back and re-evaluate your fight's position here:

1) She said the tails being bobbed wasn't her choice. Obviously the tails are already healed since there's no gauze on them... meaning it was done a little while ago... not because she wanted it, but because it was done by the people who had the puppy before.
2) She said she's not going to have the ears bobbed.... something I'm personally happy to hear (no pun intended).
3) She said the animal COULD be showed (competitively) or bred, something considered exploitive by some, but she will not be doing either, only being a cutie puppy and be part of the family.

Bottom line is, she's adding a family member... not a toy, and she knows it. I hope you can see that now.
