Well a Happy New Year to everyone, whether it's New Year's Day for you, about to be, or is just turning midnight! As it's a new year, I think it's time to make an announcement and an upload. As some of you might know, I've been searching forever and a day trying to find somebody to do a good character reference for me. I've had several artists draw pictures for me, and I thank all of you for your works; they're all great in their own right. But in the end, one person's come closer than anyone else.

And so, until stated otherwise, I'm now declaring THIS to be my official character reference picture, done by the amazing  jaeh. If you think "Mike Fang," then this is the closest that any artist to date has ever come, and in my own opinion, he's done an incredible job, really capturing the cyberpunk noir aesthetic that I wanted, the sort of physical build I was looking for, the style that's a great balance of serious and cartoon/comic-like and so on. It may be that someday someone will do an even closer job of getting the mental image of my character on paper/screen, but this is without a doubt the closest to date anyone's come to reading my mind.
