I don't want Toffee to come back in Star vs the Forces of Evil. I want him to stay dead but you learn more about him and the Septarians in the coming season(s), like you get to see him in a flashback or something.

The bottom sketch was my attempt at making a love-interest for (younger) Toffee, as no character on the show really feels like a good match for him. Most Toffee love interests are pretty sexy though, but with me loving the monster designs in Star vs. the Forces of Evil, I wanted to make his ex from years ago a weird bug thing - cause it's funnier that the all but human-bodied Toffee would be into a muppet.

The lizard woman hitting on Toffee in the corner meanwhile is from the "shedding" bit from the Merrie Melodies short "Cross Country Detours".
