There is a specific scene in the old Sailor Moon cartoon during which these two meet, look at each other, then walk away, but through the magic of limited animation appearing to be bouncing, I thought it crucial to enshrine this matter before 2019. On most other websites I did!

if that makes sense to you I will try not to contradict it! Michael Jackson is certainly likely to have owned that outfit and a pogo stick, and, had he lived, may well have had enough surgery by this point to resemble an anime character. This makes slightly more sense than the scene in Moonwalker where he gets chased around by oddly-proportioned clay people and then puts on a giant rabbit-head-mask which becomes his actual head.
Ha, I've no idea who the guy in front is but I know that one chasing him. Maybe the one stood watching too... Got to admit the walkway reminds me of one place in FF8. The background is great too, you have an amazing talent making such detailed backgrounds with what might look like quick sketches at first glance.

Thank you! The one in front is Nephrite, who replaced Jadeite and at one point impersonated the figure seen here chasing him, though that was not a factor in my drawing them together!
Since the paper sketch is from over ten years ago I do not recall what exactly I was trying to do with the background, though when coloring it in i was thinking of f-zero for some/no reason, though I wished not to not look at a screen capture from it since it was not my intent to imitate that. Having said this, I have a long strange history with final fantasy 8 and I would not be surprised if the few bits that I thought actually worked have subconsciously influenced my actions.
