Gazing upon the swirling blaze at the heart of the burning forest, many hope and few fear.

They know of this outcast, the alleged 'traitor.'
The only one vengeful enough to usurp control, and start anew.

A shaman's futilely attempts to cease the ritual, unwilling to let another more worthy take control.
For he is afraid of change. They are all afraid of change.

Impaled upon a deathly scythe, his is body tossed aside as he's done others.
His only use now, fuel for the fire, his blood for another's blood.

At the forefront, the catalyst. The agent of his creation, a single woman.
Her strength yields a flaring beacon for others to follow.
