Caught!
---
What was that smell?
A pair of eyes open revealing beautifully deep blue eyes. A small blue nose rose up into the air sniffing as though something had hooked onto it and it was difficult to ignore.
Hmm? Another fellow plush? No...
Giving another few more sniffs the nose finally picked up on what had got it hooked.
A human! Alone...Walking...
The owner of the nose slowly rosed up from its slumber revealing it full self. A Zeraora, its soft plush yellow fur glowed golden under the light from the sun and its wiskers twitched as it gave a long yawn showing its sets of faux teeths.
Not unlike a cat that had been awoke,n the lightning cat gave itself a good stretch before grooming itself. Now finally awaken from its nap, it stalked from its resting den to the source of the smell.
"A human! Maybe she'd make a good playmate!", the Zeraora though to himself.
---
"Auugh this place is huge! That darn factory looked to small from the outside now this? A jungle? How's this possible?", Lily though to herself as she trudge along the thick underbush.
Then again...she did live quite close to the edge of the equator so such a place existing in a run-down area shouldn't be off...
---
The Zeraora jumped through the canopy of the plush jungle before finally homing in on the source of the scent and catching sight of a girl, Lily. Neither wanting to scare her nor letting her escape he lowered to slowly stalked to the canopy but not letting her out of sight.
---
It was quite unnerving as she continued to climb through the never-ending thick jungle, it felt like she was being watched...
Lily's heartbeat continued to rise as she walk through the thick plush vegetation. Her quickened up her pace and the walk quicky became a sprint. After a while she managed to find a good resting spot amongst the jungle clearings and decided to take a breather.
It wasn't long before she heard a growl.
Lily's blood ran cold, foregoing her rest she burst into a full sprint again. She had read on before about wild cats stalking through the jungle to catch their prey and the rustlinmg of leaves in the canopy didn't help to ease her fears.
---
She had been running, almost out of breath. Taking several turns in hope of shaking whatever was chasing her of her tail didn't seem to slow it down for it continued to catch on to whereever she was. Hopefully she wasn't running in circles.
It was alright though, just needed to find another hiding spot.
*CRACK*
Though a thinking of a good hiding space was important so was paying attention of what your running into, something which Lily failed to do so and soon found herself face first into a branch.
Out cold. She laid down in the soft ground of the jungle not before the hunter leap down from the canopy.
---
She knew her stuff! The impressed Zeraora leap down and got a good look that Lily.
Especially in a thick forest like this...
Though it appeared that she injured herself quite badly from their small chase.
The Zeraora proceeded to pick her up and carried onto her back using some plush vines to keep her secured before soaring back into the canopy back to his resting place.
---
Hmmmm....huh?
Lily woke up not before a pain sharp shot through her head.
"That tree branch really did a number on you huh?" a coase voice came from aside.
Looking to her side, Lily saw the Zeraora sitting next to her and grasp in shock.
"Woah, look i mean you no harm...just that i didn't expect our little game to lead to this...", the Zeraora look away sadly and shamefully.
Reaching to her head she found it lightly bruised but otherwise didn't seem bad.
Looking back at the big plush cat, she got a better look at him. Initally taken a back and shy at first, it wasn't long before they both started a small conversation. The Zeraora didn't seem to harbour any ill intent.
---
"So what your saying is...that to get through this thick jungle....I've got to look like...you?", said Lily as she held a rather thick pelt of yellow fur in her hand unfolding into a thick soft Zeraora suit not unlike the one standing before her.
"Yes", the big cat replied.
"I can show you the way out.......but if you wanted to stay it'd still be ok", the Zeraora sadly trailed off.
The night spent in his soft fur was the most comfortable sleep she ever had as they snuggled last night. From then she learnt from him that he'd only remembered being a plush for as long as he had been here and from his mannerism she could tell he was quite lonely......
"Leave........or stay.....", Lily though to herself a she stare at the suit before slipping it on.
