He was found as an orphan and little was known about him, he lived mostly in the streets scavenging most of what he could find out of trash thrown by others, charity through begging or through some odd jobs that he was able to accomplish. Despite everything however this timid being was growing hunched as his life progressed, a rather odd sight for the normal sights of his proud kin normally walking up straight.
The true nature of his hunch was not due to his introvert and timid personality, or even the fact he was easily scared.
He suffered from a parasitic fungus that took the form of a large mushroom that covered his back, this fungus had seeped it's roots deep in to his flesh to attach itself firmly to its host.
Despite being a rather passive and harmless being, very few would dare to come near him...Every time he'd get too stressed, afraid or felt threatened, the mushroom would react, beginning to unleash spores at a high rate making an hissing sound before a large explosive shockwave would burst from his very being, leaving him unharmed but knocking even a full grown minotaur off of their feet by the sheer force of the explosion.
Due to the hissing sound that was made every time an explosion was eminent this strange being came to be known as "Hisser".
