I decided to do one of these 2018 art summary things. It was actually pretty hard to choose just one picture for some of the months. I drew way more then I thought I did this year.
Not all of these were the most popular pic from each month. I chose the ones I felt were the best, The ones I pushed my self and the ones I improved on the most. Though MAY was a tie with "A song of the sea" http://www.furaffinity.net/view/27300946/ , I had to let a coin decide, I felt they were both really good for different reasons but I could only put one in the spot.
2018 for most of the year was actually really good, I made so much progress. Then fall came and that was really rough and I didn't get nearly enough done but when December rolled in things were starting to pic back up again and looking good.
I don't really do new years resolutions but I made a few new friends in 2018 and I hope to make even more in 2019 especially female friends if I ever hope to have a girlfriend and fall in love, other than my bat waifu that is X3
Plus 2019 is going to be the year of milkshakes, the prologue is just around the corner and hopefully the Kickstarter for the Milkshakes Visual Novel will be up in the early part of the year.
I think 2019 will be the best year in a long, long time so HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!

I poured so much into it and worked so hard on it non stop for many days. I think it really paid off plus it best captures the emotion of the characters better than any other picture I did last year.
That's not to say that some of the other pictures didn't capture emotion ether but not to the same extent as that on in April.

That's a really good way to put it, I hadn't thought to look at it like that before. I think the only exception is the one of Krystal because she's looking at herself in a mirror and we the viewer are looking at her from the reflections perspective but ultimately it still looks like shes posing for a picture.
I wish I had went ahead and changes shark Morgana's expression in Augusts picture to looking at Mila with a surprised,embarrassed expression. instead of looking back at the viewer, it might have captured some of the genuine quality that Aprils picture had.

I was speaking of tbe pirates fate fan art you drew when i was refering to how the april one felt more like a genuine moment than some pin up or posing for the camera moment. I think the chubby krystal wearing her bra image also is a very genuine expressive moment though the whole point of that image was her posing in front of a mirror for herself and the way the perspective is she is posing straight ahead to the viewer than some other less "artificial" perspective ( im sorta making up that term but what i mean by that is those perspectives that had the characters facing in the 8 cardinal and intermediate directions but it works fine with the Krystal image because of the context behind that picture.)
Now that i have more time to think about it the May picture with Krystal is my favorite of the non fan art images. I hope to see more art of this quality with your own characters that you have shown to do for your fanart!
