I love that you didn't make Axel a red dog! That's what everyone does when they draw Axel as an animal. They make him a fully red (maybe with some black markings) dog or wolf or whatever because his hair is red.
I don't know the story behind it so I can't say anything relating to that but I love Axel's expression and Xion's pose! Love the detail of Axel's nose and mouth too. His eyes look beautiful. I love the emotion in their faces!

LOL I have thought so many times, "should I change G.S. Axel to a red color...? Maybe it would look better..." x3 For most of the characters I do, if the hair is an unnatural color like that, I don't do the whole body in that color, but with, say, xion and Roxas, I use their hair color for the fur because it doesn't look weird. x3
I think so! Not just the storyline, I like how the game is set up -- I like it A LOT actually. it's perfect for me, I don't have much time to play per day, so it kind of splits up gameplay nicely. x3 Also, there are a lot of "goals" and "challenges" to shoot for, and anyone who knows me knows I love to get shiny stickers for going ridiculous things in games. x3
