This also reminds me of a scene from the Fabels comic series. In it, Boy Blue was making his way through enemy territory in the Homelands when his way is blocked by a fire breathing dragon. The two fight, and then Boy Blue manages to use his indestructible cloak to tie up the dragon's mouth just as it's about to breath fire. The build up causes a nice little inflation scene before the dragon bursts and clears the way for Boy Blue to continue his mission. That scene among others makes Fabels a great comic book series, and I highly recommend it if you haven't read it yet.
