Happy New Year! Now you're on MY time, you LITTLE SKUNK~!

Dr. Nefarious Tropy from Crash Bandicoot, because I can't wait for that racing game remake we're getting this year! I felt this would be an appropriate time (hah) to post this guy, who was requested by a friend via a Secret Santa I participated on in Discord. I'm actually really glad this was one of his picks because this is my first time drawing him and I'm incredibly glad I got to draw him now! And I'm glad 2019 is starting off with such a strong piece of artwork too.

Side-note, when it comes to Tropy's design, I actually vastly prefer his design from the original PS1 games(I'm not a fan of the bionic arm because it kinda makes his already busy design even busier) but I absolutely love the addition of freckles in the N. Sane Trilogy games. Freckles are always good.

Tropy is a character I don't really think about too often when it comes to the Crash series, so I don't really have much in the way of headcanons for him. I will say that I think he's not actually allied with Cortex so much as he's allied with Uka Uka and he actually has absolutely no respect for the bearded yellow gremlin that lives in Cortex Castle. As far as he's concerned, Cortex is beneath him and he'll only work with Cortex if there's something involved for him. I think he respects the pink egg just a little bit more, and that's only because the egg actually listens to his instructions.

I'm just happy I drew a scientist that isn't N. Gin. At the rate I'm going, it'll be 2022 before I actually draw Brio. (I kid, I kid, you'll be seeing him a lot sooner than that)
