Yes, I somehow worked the ludicrous phrase of 'Dipping the Fips and Chips' into a title. :D
Anyway, I have been pondering for several days now over what to do with my latest model of a space-ified HMS Dreadnought. Searching for inspiration, I had a look at the original Dreadnought's military record. It turns out that apart from serving as a flagship, the only real decent engagement she won was when the revolutionary battleship collided with a German submarine, sinking it. This earned the Dreadnought the esteemed position of being the only battleship in history to directly sink a submarine. So this piece reprises Dreadnought's role of not shooting at much, but crashing into people she does not like. :D
For those of you wondering, the FIPS are the Feilan Intrasolar Police Service. The colloquialism used by people when referring to police is not so much 'cops' in this time, rather, 'fips', or 'fips and chips'. Dipping the fips and chips means, in Todd's words, 'screwing the police over'.
