I have a strong bias towards ALICE gear. I always felt that it just lasted longer and allowed you to just clutter yourself with what ever you needed. Not to mention how overpriced MOLLE gear tends to be when you need it fixed or replaced.

In my opinion, they’re both great systems with there own pros and cons. I have an Alice pack with Molle shoulder straps, and the Molle sleep system carrier attached to the bottom of it, it makes the medium Alice pack more modern, while still keeping its rugged design :3

Although Molle body armor is tempting, ALICE flak gear is still quite a beauty on it's own haha. I use my ALICE web gear on Search and Rescue, and it honestly does the job while staying cheap and long lasting. MOLLE Velcro tends to get clogged up with mud and worn down, so when dealing with the swamps I have to get through, ALICE just works perfectly. But then again, every job and terrain has it's own problems, so it might just be my swampland bias talking haha.
