I know I miss summer! I'd be right with her at the beach!

I'm more of a fall person, but there is something so right about a warm day at the beach!

Oh yeah, I totally miss summer. While we're having an unusually mild winter here and there's no snow on the ground when a foot or more would be typical, and while I don't miss the mosquitoes and other biting insects of summer, I miss it a lot. Last summer I made a lot of trips to my favorite beach on Lake Michigan, which at sunset when everybody else left became my own private beach, and had some really wonderful times there. Winter has its beauty but summer's the best!

Oh your trip to Lake Michigan sounds wonderful! Yeah, I'm happy the insects are gone right now. I'm also glad it's not 100°F right now, too!
