My next drawing: Midna w/ a tail. Because she needs one, and I want her to have one. Not the first time I’ve drawn her with a tail, but I took a better attempt here.

Unlike my drawings of Judy, which I sort of “improvised” the poses, I had a pose in mind for Midna, to show off her tail. Though, I still “cheated” by looking up a vintage pinup for reference.

My original plan was to rough-draw out the pinup pose, just to get a feel for it, and then try to redraw it in Midna’s frame, but in more “normal” body proportion. It didn’t really work out as well as I had hoped though. Actually, maybe going away from her imp body was a bad idea. All well.

All the same, I took a less sloppy effort that Judy, actually constructing Minda in shapes, and also erasing mistakes. And by god there was a lot of erasing to be had. Digital drawing did kinda spoil me a bit, as I had moments of distraction, and made errors, and instantly tried to reach for my nonexistent keyboard to undo the mistake. I really struggled to get it right, but set with a personal deadline, I couldn’t wait, and had to soldier on with what I had.

Incidentally, I used this image ( https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net.....20160521025958 ) as my sole reference for Midna (disregarding a back shot), and...I think the artist was confused or something, but...that’s now how your left hand is suppose to work…
