So yeah, I decided to create this comparison of my main OC Ignis throughout the years.

It all started in 2014 when I was midway through high school, where I made Ignis Draco, this charismatic fun loving red dragon, which was inspired by the likes of  seeraphine's Fiora,  caleb_magness,  thelonecrow's Legacy of the Phoenix and another artist on DA, known as EdDarkflame. And also the likes of the anime Trigun. I mean I was taking a LOT from Trigun with this guy: post apocalyptic sci-fi setting, absurd weapons, a huge bounty on his head, he was basically just a carbon copy of Vash the Stampede but as a dragon. Even had an evil twin brother which I kept around some time, including Procella Mare, Ignis' love interest where you can find

In 2016, I decided to revamp him after making a sketch based on Benedict from Battleborn, which, at one point was gonna be like an entirely different character, but I decided to make him a revamped Ignis Draco, and I was considering a more Ratchet and Clank like universe, keeping the whole "sci-fi" deal.

In 2017, I asked  shinysteel over at FA for a birthday present, which I originally intended it to be a pic of my other OC Milessa, but nevertheless, I was amazed with the turnout and nearly a year later, I decided to revamp his design based on Shiny's art style with the manga style shading I tried out, which I soon grew out of.

Which leads us to this year, after inspired by the likes of  hayakain and his Ryugou webcomic, and Asura's Wrath, thanks to this video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_M.....in&index=3 I found myself circling ideas for a COMPLETE revamp, naming him just "Ignis," including making a brand new world, new love interest, new EVERYTHING. So, Avastria was born a sort of fantasy sci-fi-ish world, inspired by the likes of the Legend of Spyro, Wakanda from Black Panther and Shinkoku Trastrium from Asura's Wrath.

So yeah, that's how Ignis was developed throughout the years.
