Last times, when I returned home late, Fortune used to sit at the computer and work on her projects, at the same time doing her studies and the work. All of this continues during already 2 weeks. I understand that now it is a test week and it's a hard time at the university, so when I could, I took upon myself some household chores. Although usually there was little business and by my arrival I was always waiting for dinner, which, however, I had to share with myself. But today, on returning home, I didn't hear the welcome call, thinking that she was sitting in the headphones, so calmly went to the refrigerator to see what food was in the house. Dinner was as always ready, or rather, it was a piece of yesterday's lasagna, prudently left for me in the evening. Putting a plate with lasagne to bask in the microwave, I realized that I still hadn't changed into home clothes, so I headed to the bedroom where the Fort was supposed to work. But I saw a completely different picture.
Fortune lay flat on the bed in her home pants and sweater, which she once took from me. The sweater was a size larger than the Fort itself, and so now the fabric is all shrunk in a variety of folds, turning the girl into a cozy sniffling ball. On the table was a laptop with several open tabs, one of which was a social network in which she received many unread messages.
I knew that this day would come and told her to go to bed earlier. Well, I neatly sat on the bed, trying not to wake my tired girlfriend and took off my T-shirt, however, I could not resist and looked at Fortune over my shoulder again. Now she looks like the most peaceful and harmless creature in the world. Harmless and very tired.
Somewhere in the kitchen a microwave squealed, announcing the end of work. All I had to do was eat lasagna, turn off the laptop and go to sleep on the floor so as not to disturb the sleep of my peacefully sniffling girl.
