If the image is just updated, browsers usually cache the old one instead of downloading it each time. To force it to update you hold ctrl when pressing f5 to road. The new one will show up to anyone that hasn't seen the old one though.

I tried that and still the same thumbnail for me. Even when I tried to update the thumbnail the image still had the same one.
