There's nothing like a trip to the land of make believe to turn a normally dull day into one of the best days ever. Adding a great friend like yourself to the jovial adventures only makes things that much sweeter. Oopa!

Ahaha, I know! :D It's so fun making stories and doing art stuff... especially when there are all sortsa real stresses that can absorb your time and bring down a good attitude. It's important to have some way to make sure you enjoy yourself amongst all that! Even though sometimes maybe I do that more often then I should... I'd much rather do what's fun than anything else. 8D As long as it doesn't screw up other things.

Good times indeed. There's nothing like a good time, whether its in real-life or in one's imagination, to turn around what might have started out being a rather lousy, or boring, day.

It's interesting you should mention what you did in your first paragraph. I actually drew this amidst a discussion I was having with my wife in regards to how the final days of my previous job were. Earlier in the day, I had a meeting with an employment consultant and I was reluctant to thoroughly discuss the matter and she was curious as to why I didn't openly disclose my true feelings, as well as the actions, behind it. Needless to say, recalling it really brought me down. However, drawing this put me right back-on-track again.

You got to love how being creative and exploring the more pleasant things in life can work to turn things around. :)

Ah, well knowing what happened, I think bringing it up again would be pretty difficult, especially if you have to do so in person. And even doing so to another employer, someone who could possibly do the same thing, could be even more troubling. However, I think after hearing about that, it'd be too cruel to do something like that again. So hopefully whoever your future employer is will be understanding of that, and make sure any similar event won't have to happen. (:
